I've read all the reviews below and couldn't believe it. I've been working out at gyms (mostly in NYC) for over 40 years now and have paid upwards of $200. a month, and for that money, I got no more, no less, than I have at this Planet Fitness in Succasunna, NJ.
Size: One reviewer said this gym was tiny. In NYC, gyms are tiny. To me, this space is huge.
Friendliness ... Everyone at this branch has been extremely friendly. The staff always acknowledges me when I come in and the same when I leave.
Cleanliness ... In the afternoon, the staff is ALWAYS moving, sweeping, and vacuuming off the equipment (I know, because I'm usually on it). The showers and bathrooms have always been well maintained.
This place is the worst gym that you could go to all the staff treat you like garbage the trainer has no idea what she's doing I would never go back there again if you sign up and retro you have better weights better trainers plus they have a Smoothie Bar whatever you need for protein they have it there and really cheap $3 Planet Fitness is a joke it looks like a hangout club for people just a hookup not for training their weights are ridiculous not clean bathroom smells and a manager has a bad attitude all the time you always look at girls ass he don't care about anything else
Price you can t beat! Does get crowded at certain hours, wish there was a place to stretch. For men if you are looking to lift heavy , the weights are very limited. Kettle bells would be a plus!
In an article I just read comparing this new breed of inexpensive gym chains, the author compared expensive gyms to planet fitness. The author's claimed his research concluded, in the expensive gyms, which offer pretty much the same amenities that the inexpensive chains offer, the clients are much less likely to complain. In the chain gyms, where clients are paying less than nothing, they are more demanding, and they complain more often.
Great Gym! Plenty of equipment and no waits. Staff is great. The massage bed and chair with free tanning bed, I don't know how they keep the doors open at these rates. Where I moved from, I was paying $50. for a single yoga class. I pay $10. a month at Planet Fitness to work out. I still can't believe it.
I have never had a good experience here. For a place that Is all About No Judgement, they have something to say about everything. Start jumping rope.. you can't do that. You make a noise... you can't don't that..
It's a place to workout. It has clean showers. I have purchased the upgraded membership - a big $19. a month. So when I'm on the road, I can use any Planet Fitness facility in the U.S. To me, it's a bargain. I spend more on gas driving there .... Jeeeze ... Keep up the good work guys !
Here's my opinion. One review said this branch was always overcrowded. I'm always surprised at how few people do attend this branch. Maybe during rush hours when everyone gets off from work, there might be a rush. But I haven't experienced it.
